Yesterday in the college, 20's, and 30's class we discussed Romans 12:2 a little. The passage talked about renewing your mind and how we need to be transformed by God. It also says that we need to not conform to the patterns of this world. When I think About that, I feel that as Christians we say we are different, but we don't act like it. We watch the same movies, listen to the same music, divorce our spouse just as much, and talk about God when it is convenient. As Christians God tells us to be transformed and not to conform. As a Christian, I feel that we have done a sad and pathetic God of being transformed by God. Instead we have watered down the message of the cross and no longer make Christianity to be the greatest thing ever.
